New Saints for All Saints Day It's not too early to start planning for All Saints Day which will be celebrated on November 1st. It is timely to speak of this as this weekend Pope Francis will canonize some new Saints. Among the more well-known will be Bishop Oscar Romero and Pope Paul VI. Of course, Popes have canonized Saints from all around the world so there is no limit to Saints that one can choose as one's patron.
